Highbury Miniature Donkeys. We are located in the heart of the Blackmore Vale, surrounded by beautiful Dorset Countryside and it is here that we enjoy raising and showing our Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys

Miniature donkeys are our passion, and our aim is to improve the breed. We have spent a number of years building a quality herd, purchasing stock from some of the best miniature donkey breeders in both and US and the UK, choosing stock with strong bloodlines, good conformation and a gentle disposition. All our donkeys are handled from birth and are extremely friendly and very special.

We occasionally have super little foals for sale which will make fabulous pets, breeding stock and show donkeys. Our jack also stands at stud to approved jenny's only.

Hollygreen Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys, Cardigan, Pembrokeshire. Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys are a very special breed, between 30" and 36" at the withers, they are not just small standards. These super little donkeys are intelligent, affectionate and possess a wonderful temperament making them the ideal pet. They love human company and form very close attachments to their owners. They adore being petted, cuddled and groomed. Our donkeys have a passport, microchip and are registered with the MMDA. All of our donkeys are very docile, well handled and have superb natures.

We imported our jennies from Texas in 2005 and the stallion we use is a lovely little black jack 32.5" belonging to a friend who also breeds miniature donkeys.

We have some youngstock for sale and this years foals will be available once weaned at six months of age. It is important to us that our donkeys go to good and caring homes so we ask quite a lot of questions of potential purchasers.

At the moment we have for sale: Hollygreen Willow a nineteen month old very dark brown/black filly. Hollygreen Beech Boy a nine month old gelding with a chestnut brown coat. Hollygreen Holly Berry is a very very tiny seven month old black filly. Hollygreen GlenAshdale Star is a beautiful spotted colt foal, will make fantastic herd sire. Available early october.
