The Sloughi originates from North Africa and has been likened to a smooth coated Saluki but in fact they are a completely different breed. Best described as a medium sized dog, they stand at 70cm (27½ inches). They become attached to their owners and family at an early age and are very wary of strangers. Exercise is definitely required to keep this tireless hunter fit. |
