Here at Best of Breeds we have recently become aware of a company representing a manufacturer who makes good quality poultry and pet housing at affordable prices.  They exhibit the product at shows and the feedback from the public confirms that it is well made and realistically priced and therefore it sells well. However, they do not wish to sell directly to the public and as a result do not wish to advertise on the suppliers pages of the Best of Breeds website.  They wish to distribute their product through poultry breeders so maybe this could be of interest to YOU as very often new prospective buyers go to poultry breeders expecting to buy everything they need and discover that not all poultry breeders currently sell housing.

The product range covers housing from 2-3 birds up to 30.  They use Scandinavian pine, tongue and grooved for additional strength, and treat it with an animal friendly waterproof preservative. It is also possible to treat each house with a water-based product if required.  They use welded mesh for runs and vents to provide better protection for the birds and they also make optional bases for the runs for additional security against foxes and other vermin.  The style of the housing is traditional and functional and looks good in gardens and fields alike.

Distributors are able to promote the products as their own brand within a 20/25-mile radius of their businesses and because it is well priced, good margins can be made. This means there is no need to discount. Country wide delivery is available via City Link. The aim is to have breeders throughout the country selling their product even on the Internet (but not to be discounted on ebay). 

New products are continually being added to the portfolio, for example a larger range of poultry houses and latterly aviary panels.
