SPANGLED
BUDGERIGAR BREEDERS' ASSOCIATION
NEWS
- DECEMBER 2006
There was a good total entry of 289 for the SPANGLED BUDGERIGAR BREEDERS' ASSOCIATION club show held in conjunction with the B.S. club show. Although slightly lower than last year the quality was as good if not better. Congratulations are extended to all winners including those who also fared well in their prospective sections with their spangles.

It was our President Les Martin (L & P Martin) who won Best Spangle in
Show with a quality young Spangle Skyblue cock (also 5th best champion young
bird). Les prevented Jerry Donovan from making it a hat trick at this show as
he only won the members award for Best Spangle Green with his well-known Spangle
Opaline Light Green cock. Jerry did well by winning the young bird challenge certificate
for Spangle Green. P. D. White is also to be congratulated for winning the adult Spangle
Blue challenge certificate. Les was also awarded the spangle painting donated by Warren
Wilson on behalf of BRASEA (Australia). |
